After moving to Nashville from his native North Carolina where he spent years as a touring artist and musician, he quickly picked up the skills of producing and engineering to add to his songwriting capabilities. He's become known as a jack of all trades within the music row community. Nick is a respected producer for some of the finest singer/songwriters Nashville has to offer such as the likes of Travis Meadows. He's recorded hits for Carrie Underwood, Same Hunt, Chris Young and more. His work on the Spotify singles program has garnered over 5 billion streams and has featured Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett and many more. Further proving Nashville's influence on other genres, Autry has worked with Lauren Daigle, Meghan Trainor as well as legends such as Jose Feliciano. He recorded the last project for blues great James Cotton which received a GRAMMY nomination. 

Nick co-wrote and produced a number 1 billboard comedy album by Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots that features Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks and Carrie Underwood.
